Analytics for All: capability at the scale of a global service line
8,000+
Professionals completed the programme
Challenge
A service line of twelve thousand practitioners across every region had uneven analytics capability: pockets of deep expertise, and large groups of consultants who could not do the basic data work their engagements increasingly required. Training existed, but it was fragmented by geography, not connected to a learning path, and not measured.
Approach
As global development leader for analytics and AI, I designed the advanced analytics learning maps: structured paths from foundational data literacy to advanced modelling, mapped to roles and to the practice’s five market strategies. We launched Analytics for All on the firm’s learning platform as a single global programme, with modules practitioners could complete against their own work, and tracked completion and progression by region and grade.
Outcome
More than eight thousand professionals completed the programme, across more than eighteen thousand eLearning modules. Analytics capability became something the service line could measure and plan against, rather than something that depended on which office you sat in.
