Two days in Frankfurt with ninety EY-Parthenon senior managers and partners, exploring the impact of AI on strategy and transactions work. The sessions looked at how the firm’s proprietary AI-enabled research and analytics platform brings together AI and the firm’s own intellectual property, for practitioners and for clients.
Attendees travelled from as far as Helsinki and Cape Town. The engagement in the room was noticeable: a wealth of questions, and the kind of discussion that only happens when senior people are genuinely working out what a technology means for their business rather than being told.
AI is not a trend for this industry. It is a change in how the work gets done. The question that stayed with me afterwards was less about the tools than about what practitioners will need to be good at once the tools are everywhere.
